This directory contains files for installing SerialEM, the automated tilt 
series acquisition program written by David Mastronarde.  The former contents
of this README have been incorporated into the SerialEM download page, at
http://http://bio3d.colorado.edu/SerialEM/download.html

SerialEM is copyright (C) 2003-2019 by the Regents of the University of
Colorado.  See the file "Copyright.txt" for the full copyright notice and
acknowledgements of other software used.

The SerialEM executable is open source under an MIT license, but the microscope
and camera plugins to SerialEM are not open source.  The software
distributions containing these plugins are provided free for non-commercial
purposes.  By downloading these software packages, you agree that you will use
it for research rather than commercial purposes, and that you will not
distribute it outside of your own institution.
